 Otha Charles Lee, 85, of Alapaha died November 18, 2013 at South Georgia 
Medical Center.
 He was born July 3, 1928 in Irwin County to the late Richard and Nina Davis 
Lee. He was a retired foreman with Moore Lumber Company, a member of Alapaha 
Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, 
Charlotte Marion Lee who died in 2001; son, James Edward “Red” Plair; a brother 
and two sisters.
 Survivors include two daughters, LaDonna Shackleford of Adel and Wilma Flowers 
of Nashville; two brothers, Kenneth (Oveida) Lee of Alapaha and Bill (Barbara) 
Lee of Alapaha; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces 
and nephews.
 Funeral services were held November 20 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter officiating.
 Interment followed at Beaver Dam Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
