 James Lloyd Leonard, 60, of Ray City died August 9, 2009, at South Georgia M
Medical Center in Valdosta.
 Born July 31, 1949, in Renville County, MN to the late Lloyd and Laurie Olsen 
Leonard, he was a retired E-6 in the U.S. Air Force with 23 years  service  to
inclu
include a tour in Vietnam. He was employed with the Berrien County Shop as a mecha
mechanic until his health forced him to retire.
 Survivors include his wife, Kathie Wright Leonard of Ray City; two sons, Marty
Leon
Leonard, Highland Home, AL and Matt Leonard, Ray City; sister, Debbie Hjulberg,
Minn
Minneapolis, MN; brothers, Mark Sherman and Todd Sherman, both of Franklin, MN, Joe

Joe Sherman, CA; two grandchildren, Lane and Alyssa.
 Funeral service with full military honors was held Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. in the Cha
Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the military chaplain from Moody Air Force Bas
Base officiating.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
