Born February 24, 1912 in Berrien County to the late Harmon Luther and Lugenia Boykin Floyd, she was a homemaker and member of Nashville United Methodist Church. She was married to the late Ollie L. Lewis. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lewis. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Willene Lewis of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Thorne Lewis, William Lewis, Ian Lewis, Leslie Allen; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held September 25 at 11 a.m. at Nashville United Methodist Church with Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating Renee Gaskins played the processional and recessional. Leslie Allen and Cynthia Knight sang "What A Day that Will Be." Interment was in Long Bridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Lewis, Michael Lewis, Scott Duggan, Tom Hancock, Bill Lewis, Ian Lewis, Thorne Lewis, Perrin Allen. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
