 DELLA L. LEWIS-Alapaha-- Della Luke Lewis, 84, Route 1, died Wednesday at her 
resident of Berrien County and a member of the Glory United Methodist Church. 
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank E. Luke and Ira C. Lewis; and 
one grandchild, Chris Morgan.
 She is survived by two daughters, Leola McMillan, Alapaha, Naomi Morgan, 
Wewahitchka, FL; one son George C. Lewis, Gainesville, FL; one sister Myrtice 
Hill, Douglas, GA; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great 
grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Friday in the St. Luke Missionary 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Connell, and the Rev. Clayton Davis 
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 
P.M. today at the funeral home. The remains will lie in state at the church 
one hour prior to services. Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of 
the arrangements. Grandsons were pallbearers.


Additional Comments:
This is my grandmother. Her parents were Robert Lee O'Neal and Colista Jowers.
She was born 9-13-1907 Atkinson Co., GA. and died at my mother's, Leola 
McMillan's home 5-13-1992.
