 Dixie Louise James Lindsey, 57, of Tifton, formerly of West Berrien, died 
April 8, 2005 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.

 Born November 5, 1948 in Adel to the late Homer Marcus and Mildred Ann Rowan 
James, she was a homemaker and former substitute teacher. She was a member of 
Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

 Survivors include one son, Marc Lindsey of Tifton; two daughters, Robin 
Christensen of Lenox and Monica Hood of Tifton; two sisters, Mary Ruth George 
of Adel and Carrie James Lindsey of Lakeland, FL; nine grandchildren.

 A memorial service was held April 11 at 11a.m. at Pine Grove Missionary 
Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Hood officiating.

 Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals of Tifton was in charge of arrangements.
