 NASHVILLE -- Lois Lloyd, 90, of Nashville, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at 
Berrien Nursing Center.
 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brookfield Baptist 
Church. The Rev. Edward Mimbs and the Rev. Wayne Driskell will officiate. 
Burial will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.
 Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Lovein Funeral Home in 
Nashville.
 Born July 8, 1912, in Chambers Co., AL., Mrs. Lloyd was the daughter of Dr. 
Joseph Welch and Lena Hednott, both deceased. She was also preceded in death 
by her husband, James Benjamin Lloyd, who died in 1982; one son, James 
Benjamin Lloyd Jr., who died in 1999; two sisters, three brothers and one 
granddaughter.
 Mrs. Lloyd was a homemaker and a member of Brookfield Baptist Church, where 
for many years she taught Senior Ladies Sunday School class.
 She is survived by two sons, Joe Lloyd of Nashville and Hershel Paul Lloyd of 
Tifton; four sisters, Betty Farmer and Vita Meggs, both of Alexander City, 
AL., Gladys Bruner of Raleigh, NC and Laura Floy Welch Strickland of 
Birmingham, AL; one brother, Joe Carl Welch of Waddilee, AL; two daughters-in-
law, Joyce Lloyd of Enigma and Juanita Sigman of Marietta; nine grandchildren 
and 18 great-grandchildren.
 Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
