 Mittie Ruth Bennett Lott, 87, of Donalsonville died September 16, 2013 at the 
Medical Center of Central Georgia.
 She was born February 12, 1926 in Lenox in Lenox to the late Joseph Asbury and 
Mittie Hodges  Bennett. She was a homemaker and attended Reynoldsville Church 
of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Lott; sons, Charles Leroy 
Lott and Jerry Alvin Lott; grandson, Kendall Blake Lott; brother, Joseph Jack 
Bennett; three sisters, Betty Bass, Carolyn Templeton, and Libby McDonald.
 She is survived by her son, Bill (Judy) Lott of Macon; daughter, Deborah 
(Steve) Brown of Valdosta; brother, Earl “Buddy” Bennett of Crawfordville; 
sister, Martha Birdwell of Byron; four grandchildren, Johnny (Allison) Brown, 
Stephanie Lott, Paul Brown; two great-grandchildren, Trip and Landen Brown.
 A graveside service was held September 20 at 11 a.m. at Long Bridge Cemetery 
with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
