Atkinson County Citizen - January 19, 2012
 Mr. Arthur “Art” Lott, Jr., age 56 of Pearson, GA passed away Monday January 9,
9, 2012 at Hospice House of Satilla in Waycross, GA following an extended il
illness.
 Born August 31, 1955 in Douglas, GA, Mr. Lott was the son of Arthur George and J
Julia Marie Lott. He worked in the mobile home industry for many years until p
poor health led to his retirement. Mr. Lott attended Christian Fellowship C
Church and was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Wilkerson.
 Survivors include, sister, Pat Burch and husband Jerry of Axson, GA; brother, 
Arvin Lott of Pearson, GA; brother-in-law, Freddie Wilkerson of Willacoochee, G
GA; nephew, Freddie Wilkerson, Jr., of Willacoochee, GA; nieces, Sherry Lewis o
of Willacoochee, GA and Julie Horton of Pearson, GA.
 Funeral services for Mr. Lott were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 
at the Axson Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. David Akins and Bishop Steve 
Sirmans officiating. Special musical selections included “Go Rest High on That 
Mountain” rendered by Charles and Tammy Wood with Charles  on the guitar. Soft music

music for the prelude and postlude was provided by Elaine Akins, pianist.
 The interment followed in Axson Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Donald Ray Lott, Charles Lott, Silas Lott, Bill Lott, Kenn
Kenneth Lott, Bryant Lott.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
