Lovett A former resident of Berrien County, Jesse Donald Lovett, 42, died in Denver, Colorado May 1. Funeral rites were held Friday at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Mr. Lovett was the only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Lovett, former residents of Nashville, and who will be remembered by many people. The Lovetts lived in Nashville many years before moving to Tampa, Florida about 1924. The Rev. Fred B. Hooks officiated at the final rites and music was provided by Mrs. Harry Brown, Mrs. Jim Perry, E.E. Dorsey, and Jim Perry. They sang “Someday We’ll Understand” and “Nearer My God to Thee”. Pall-bearers were: Henry Snead, W.H. Powell, Bill Lovett, Rob Lovett, James Lovett, and Tommy Giddens. He is survived by a son, Bobby Lovett, of Tampa, and a sister, Mrs. John W.
