 Clara Rozean Lovett Summerall, 88, of Nashville died July 21, 2004 at her 
residence.

 Born July 3, 1916 in Polk County, TN to the late Ira and Eda Mae West Cooper, 
she was retired from Nashville Mills and was a member of Tift Avenue Church of 
God. She was married to the late Joe Brown Lovett and the late W.C. Summerall.

 Survivors include two sons, Wendell Lovett and Earl Lovett, both of 
Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Debra Merritt of Tifton and Shelia Rice of Ray 
City; four sisters, Dovie Pritchard and Betty Johnson, both of Tifton, 
Christine Ross of Valdosta, Virginia Layton of lake City, FL; 16 grandchildren, 
27 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held July 24 at 11 a.m. at Tift Avenue Church of God 
with Rev. Joe Crumley officiating.

 Interment was in Salem Memorial Gardens.

 Active pallbearers were Ronnie Tucker, Robbie Tucker, Ricky Layton, Chris 
Cooper, Randy Cooper, Greg Cooper.

 Grandchildren served as honorary pallbearers.

 Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
