Mary Frances Lowe, 91, of Nashville died June 21, 2014, at Berrien Nursing 
Center.
 She was born October 8, 1922, in Berrien County to the late Newton Hansford and 
Mamie Isabella Griner Hughes and was the widow of Walter Thomas Lowe who died in 
1971. She was a homemaker and retired teller with United Bank and The Citizens 
Bank. She was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church. She was also preceded 
in death by two sisters, Evelyn "Ebb" Brown and Velma Williams; two brothers, 
J.W. Hughes and Mark Hughes.
  She is survived by a sister, Marilee Haile of Nashville; numerous nieces, 
nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was greatly loved by all and 
will be missed.
 Funeral services were held June 23 at 11 a.m. at Nashville First Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Stanley Luke officiating. 
 Interment followed at Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
