 Christine Turner Lucas, 93, of Enigma died July 11, 2011 at Tift Health Care.
 She was born on June 22, 1918 in Irwin County to the late Joseph and Mary E
Ellen Owens Turner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Hudson L
Lucas. She was retired from Colony Cookware and was a member of Mount Zion M
Ministries in Enigma. She loved quilting, sewing and singing. She loved God and h
her family and going to church.
 Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Tottie Lucas of 
Branson, MO, Gene and Becky Lucas of Macon, Carlton and Ginger Lucas of Cosby, 
TN and Michael and Ruby Lucas of Centerville; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara 
and Hurshell Pope of Enigma; sister, Belle Harrell of Ocala, FL; seven 
grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on July 14 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson
Home for Funerals with Rev. Marv Williams officiating.
 Interment was in Enigma Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers.
