  Homer L. Luke, 80, of Rt. 1, died Monday in the Veterans Administration 
Hospital in Dublin after a lengthy illness.
 He was a lifelong resident of Berrien County. He was a retired farmer and was 
employed for 30 years by the Farmers Livestock Auction Co. He was an Army 
veteran of WWII and a member of the Berrien County Search and Rescue.
 He is survived by four sisters, Ola Stone and Frances Mathis both of 
Nashville, Lucy Griner and Sally Spells both of Chicago.
 Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Flat Creek Missionary 
Baptist with the Rev. Gary James and the Rev. Fred Hesters officiating. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is today at the funeral home after 
4 p.m.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
