 George Perry "G.P." 90, of Tifton, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at his 
residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wed. Jan. 19, 2005 at Pine 
Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Jim Williams will officiate. Burial will follow 
in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Danny White, Mike Luke, Brian Blanchett, Jamie Luke, Corey Luke, Greg Luke and 
Brandon Luke will serve as pallbearers.

 The body will lie in state one hour prior to the services. The family will 
receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson for funerals.

 Mr. Luke was born Feb. 20, 1914, in Berrien Co. He was the son of Richard and 
Margaret Griner Luke, both deceased. He was also deceased in death by his wife, 
Minnie Ola Dillard Luke; three brothers, Willie Luke, Ed Luke, and R. G. Luke 
and six sisters, Ava Rutherford, Eliza Duren, Ellen Luke, Lizzie Giddens, Ethel 
Hoover and Merintha Hall.

 Mr. Luke is was a Master Mason for 50 years and served on the Board of 
Education for Berrien Co. School System. He was a retired famer. Mr. Luke was 
survived by his wife, Mary Lawson Luke; 4 sons and daughters in law, Franklin 
and Sherrell Luke of Cecil, Sonny and Susan Luke of Tifton, Richard and Paula 
Luke of Tifton, Randy and Mandy of Tifton; four daughters and sons-in-law, 
Barbara and Charles Markam of TyTy, Bernice and Leon White of Tifton, Penny and 
Jerry Brogdon of Nashville, Judy and Larry Hogan of Nashville;  a sister, 
Florence Cleo Pitts of Tifton; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and two 
great-great grandchildren.

 Bowen Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge of funerals.
