 Bobbie Carroll Luke, 57, of Nashville died July 3, 2008 in Nashville.
 He was born March 16, 1951 in Cook County to the late Ben Richard and Nellie 
Griffin Luke. He was a disabled Army veteran who served in Vietnam and was of 
the Baptist faith.
 He was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva Bennett and Pat Morris, and a 
brother, Billy Richard Luke, also a Vietnam Army veteran.
 He is survived by his wife, Deena Pierce Luke of Valdosta; two sons, Chad 
(Wylene) Luke of Nashville and Cory (Sarah) Luke of Loganville; two 
stepdaughters, Gail Deacon of Valdosta and Bonnie Robinson of Tennessee; three 
stepsons, Ray Deacon of Atlanta, Steve Deacon and Allan Deacon, both of 
Valdosta; and three sisters, Jane Sumner of Sparks, Shirley Long of Sparks and 
Jennie Spikes of Alapaha.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on July 6 in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home in Nashville with the Rev. Eddie Cox officiating. Appropriate music on CD 
was provided.
 Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Ray Deacon, Steve Deacon, Steve Brady, Curtis Shealey, Ricky 
Brady, Robert Fugate, Brian Vaughn.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
