 Virginia Luke, 79, of Nashville, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at Berrien County 
Hospital. Born July 23, 1930, in Berrien County, she was the daughter of the 
late Arthur Avera and the late Sarah Bennett. She was a homemaker and was 
retired with Nashville Mills. Survivors include two daughters, Janice 
Kinnebrew, Nashville, Carolyn Hammock, Macon; two sons, Mike Luke, Roanoke, 
Ala., Dennis Luke, Nashville; a sister, Joyce Flanders, Nashville; 10 
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service will held at 2 p.
p.m., Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. The Rev. Cl
Clarence Luke will officiate. Songs on CD included "The Old Rugged Cross" an
and "Go Rest High on That Mountain." Burial will be in Pleasant Cemetery. 
 Pallbearers were Derrick Smith, Denny Smith, Marlin Harris, Lamar Harris, T
Temus Rice, Luke Kinnebrew, Matthew Barber. 
 Visitation will be held from noon until the funeral hour Sunday. - Lovein F
