 Lessie Nona Luke, 97, of Nashville died Wednesday, September 5, 2001, at 
Berrien County Hospital. She was born on Nov. 20, 1903, in Irwin County to the 
late Willie Carl and Cordelia Roberts Hall. She was the widow of James Ollie 
Luke. Mrs. Luke was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Primitive Baptist 
Church. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Alma Carter. 
 She is survived by son, Amos Luke of Nashville; four sisters, Alda Dorminey, 
Nashville, Ethell Kreiger, Dolly Mae Dozier, both of Valdosta, Natalie Lou 
Kokanee, Buffalo, NY; brother, Carl Hall, of Albany; two grandchildren; six 
great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. 
 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
home with the Rev. Clarence Luke and the Rev. Fred Hesters officiating.
 Burial will be held in Flat Creek Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville.
