Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Westview Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Trawick will officiate. Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. today at Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 tonights. Born March 15, 1921 in Berrien Co., Mr. Luke was the son of John David Luke and Kate Corbett both deceased. For many years he owned and operated the Nashville Milling Co. He was also a pecan grower and cattle farmer. He was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church, a former alderman for the City of Nashville and an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, in which he served as a fighter pilot instructor. Survived by four sons, John David Luke III of Kepner, TX, Pete Luke, Quitman, Mike Luke, Nashville, Dr. Pat Luke, Atlanta; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
