Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Bethel Holiness Church with the Rev. Brad Fuller, the Rev. Tye Sorrow and the Rev. Ned Russ officiating. B Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 t to 9 tonight. Mrs. Lusher was born April 29, 1921 to the late William Allen Hall and Mattie Rowan. She was a lifelong member of Bethel Holiness Church where she spent a number of years teaching the word of God to the small children of her community. She owned and operated the Poplar Springs Country Store for over 45 years and was lovingly called “Miss Naomi” by many who frequented her store. In h her later years, she was involved in a small singing ministry on Friday m mornings at the local nursing home. She was the widow of Francis Daniel “Jack” Lusher and was also preceded in death by four sisters, Claudie Singletary, Maudell French, Nola Mae Abel and Marie Hughes; and two brothers, Lonnie Hall and Rossie Hall. Mrs. Lusher is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Chris Kauffman of Nashville and Ann and Frank Metcalf of Senoia; son, Michael Lusher of Hinesvile; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Les Miller of Nashville and Hattie and Shorty Bradley of Marietta; four grandchildren and their spouses, Michele and John Leonard, Mark Lusher, Chris and Wendy Metcalf and Susan and Todd Garrick; and seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Hazel H Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
