He was born January 24, 1927, in Ada, OK to the late Robert Orn and Polly H Howard Manley. He had been employed for 35 years with Standard Motor Products i in Long Island, NY as a zone manager, and was CEO/Founder of CMB Marketing in L Lakeland, FL. He was in the Navy, 82nd Airborne Army/WWII. He was of the B Baptist faith. He played minor league baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals. He w was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Hancock Manley of Tifton; daughters, Olivia Jean Manley of Greenville, SC and Jacquelyn Manley DeMoore of Plano, TX; sons, Robert Russell Manley of Maui, MA, and Jack Richard Wright of Loganville; six grandchildren who called him “Poppy,” Melissa Manley, Joey Manley, Jessica Wright, Ryan Wright, Paige DeMoore, great-grandchild, Jaden Manley; sister, Thelma Thelma McFall of Bremerton, WA. Funeral services were held April 24 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home Home with the Rev. Danny Ray and Dr. Bill Hancock officiating. Interment followed in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
