 Charlie Lucious Manning, 80, of Nashville died Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the 
Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.
 He was born June 5, 1935, in Crisp County to the late James Robert Lee and Betsy 
Pate Manning. He was retired from Georgia DOT in the road maintenance department 
and a member of Long Bridge Primitive Baptist Church. He was the widower of 
Jeanette Griffin Manning who died in 2014. He was also preceded in death by a 
brother, Joseph Manning.
 He is survived by a son, Chuck Manning of Florida; two brothers, Glover Lamar 
(Cortez) Manning of Tifton and Authur Lee (Louise) Manning of Atlanta; two 
sisters, Erma (Jim) Barnett of Tifton and Kay Francis Spradlin of Tifton; and 
several nieces and nephews.
 A graveside funeral service was held at Long Bridge Cemetery on Friday, October 
16, at 11 a.m. with Elder Robert Skinner officiating.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
