 Lanora Kathlyn "Kat" Massingill, 84, of Nashville died January 14, 2009 at Be
Berrien Nursing Center.
 Born June 30, 1924 in Richland Parish, LA, to the late Tom and Ilda Irene S
Silk, she was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Delhi, LA. She w
was the widow of Robert Cline Massingill, who died in 1995.
 Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Prissy Massingill of 
Nashville; daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Joe Moore, Montgomery, TX; three 
grandchildren, Crissy (Eric) Staley, Lacey (Chad) Rice all of Nashville, Glen 
(Denise) Smith, Beaumont, TX; and four great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Hom
Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Selected music was played on CD.
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Pallbearers were Terry Harper, Wayne Peters, Frank Swanson, Perry Connell, J
Jimmy Paulk, Brian McGhee.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
