 Winnie Yancey Mathis, 89, of Jacksonville, FL died April 26, 2005 at a care 
center in Jacksonville.

 Born in Nashville, she had lived in the Jacksonville area for many years. She 
was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and was married to the late Gilbert 
G. Mathis.

 Survivors include one son, Glenn G. Mathis; seven grandchildren, six great-
grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held April 30 at 1 p.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church 
with Rev. John Montgomery officiating.

 Interment was in Riverside Memorial Park.

 Peeples Family Funeral Home of Jacksonville was in charge of arrangements.
