 Curtis Charles Mathis, 61, of Nashville died July 22, 2012 at Tift Regional Me
Medical Center in Tifton.
 He was born August 22, 1950, in Berrien County to Melba Doris Lewis Mathis of L
Lakeland and the late Curtis James Mathis. He was a member of Camp Creek M
Missionary Baptist Church. He will be remembered by those with a sweet tooth f
for his baking and decorating of cakes. He is preceded in death by his brother, D
Donnie Ray Mathis.
 Survivors in addition to his mother, include his wife, Debbie Rooks Mathis of 
Nashville; son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Stephanie Mathis of Alapaha; 
grandchildren, Wyatt and Tegan Rae Mathis; sister, Ruby Mixon of Eaton; brother 
and sister-in-law, Jerry and Suzanne Mathis of Lakeland; sister-in-law, Teresa 
Mathis of Lakeland; special cousins, Harold and Sara Lewis of St. Mary’s; a numb
number of nieces and nephews.
 A memorial service was held July 28 at 2 p.m. at Camp Creek Missionary Church.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
