 Lorene May, 85, of Nashville, died October 13, 2014, at Berrien Campus of South 
GA Medical Center.
 She was born September 29, 1929, to the late John and Thelma Tuten McLemore. 
She was a retired LPA and a member of the Jehovah Witness. She was preceded in 
death by her husband, Edward Joseph May, and a sister, Lucille May.
 She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Gary) Jones and Jackie (Dusty) 
Chance, both of Adel; two sons, Donnie (Cathy) May of Valdosta and Jimmy (Cindy) 
May of Adel; daughter-in-law, Kim Conger of Sparks; nine grandchildren, Laura 
(Brent) Exum, Melissa Jones, Andy Jones, Jamie (Johnny) White, and Kevin Chance, 
all of Adel, Shane May and Laken May, both of Sparks, David Dubose of Valdosta, 
and Jason Dubose of Douglas; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Vernell 
D’Angio, Eva Mae Masiello, and Tina Folsom; several nieces and nephews.
 The family honored her request for cremation. A memorial service was held on 
October 18 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
