Graveside memorial se services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Gaskins Cemetery in Berrien County wi with burial to follow. The family will receive friends at Music Funeral Se Services in Lakeland from 1:30 p.m. until time to go in a procession to the ce cemetery. Mr. May was born on Aug. 10, 1936 in Nashville, Berrien County to the late G Glenn and Ava Nell (Gaskins) May. He joined the United States Army at the age o of 17 and served his country for six years. A glazier by trade, he lived in s several places before returning back to this area in 1994. Along with his p parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde May. Mr. May is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Ann (Doner) May of Lakeland; a daughter and son-in law, Phillip and Tina Moody of Chula; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Jr. and Samantha May of Enigma; stepson, Jeffrey and Chris Strasser of Shallotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Chad and Stephanie Griffin and Kay Cee May; step law, Kenneth Jr. and Samantha May of Enigma; stepson, Jeffrey and Chris Strasser of Shallotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Chad and Stephanie Griffin and Kay Cee May; step-grandchildren, Brittany, Heather and Lance Moody, Justin, Ryan, Aaron (Amanda) and Emily Gibson, Zachary and Dillan Frazier and Landon Rainey; a brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Verma May of Nashville; several nieces and ne and nephews; and many good friends. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Grace Hospice for all their their support and wonderful care.
