She was born on Feb. 13, 1922, in Berrien County to the late Henry Webster and Ocie Sally Rutherford Davis. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church. She was the widow of Dougal Lamar McClellan who died Sept. 28, 1992. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Othelle Fort; and two brothers, Lory Davis and Clifton Davis. She is survived by five sons, Lamar McClellan of West Berrien Community, Felton (Carrie) McClellan, Nashville, Wendell (Myrtice) McClellan, Ray City, Ray (Jo Ann) McClellan, LaGrange, Royce (Kathy) McClellan, Bay St. Louis, Miss.; seven grandchildren, Stacy, Wesley, Jason, Jonathan, Russell, Kimberly, Christie; nine great- grandchildren; step granddaughter, Kala Miller; and one brother, Cecil Davis of Winter Haven, Fla. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Charles Tyson officiating. A selected Primitive Baptist choir sang "Precious Memories," and Gail Blount sang "Amazing Grace." Interment was in Mt. Paron Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wesley McClellan, Russell McClellan, Jason McClellan, Jonathan McClellan, Marlin McClellan, Kent Carter. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
