    Herman McClellan,73, of Alapaha, died Sunday Nov. 6, 2011, at his 
residence. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Lovein
Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will fo
follow at Westview Cemetery.
  Visitation will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday.
  He was born Oct. 19, 1938, in Berrien County to the late Clayton McClellan 
and the late Tortis Vickers. He was a farmer, retired from Nashville Mills as an
an excursion mechanic and had also been employed with Horace Williams Lumber Co.
  He was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a s
son, Gary McClellan; infant daughter; infant son; brother, Melvin McClellan; a
and a sister, Fannie Mae McClellan.
  He is survived by his wife, Thelda Mae Sellars McClellan of Alapaha; son, 
Greg (Kim) McClellan of Alapaha; sister, Odellia Rudeseal of Alapaha, two 
grandchildren, Kylen McClellan and Katie McClellan.
  Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville, is in charge of arrangements.
