Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Lo Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Burial will fo follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at th the funeral home. Mr. McCorvey was born Feb. 7, 1946 in Berrien County to the late J.W. McCorvey a and Betty Taylor. He was a retired electrician with Nashville Mills and was a m member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Betty Taylor Dabbs of Nashville; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Rob Lovein and Margo and Steven Mathis, all of N Nashville; son, Craig McCorvey of Nashville; and grandchildren, Carson M McCorvey, Tripp Lovein, Caroline Lovein, Riley McCorvey, Mattie Mae Mathis and R Rowan Mathis. He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Ann McCorvey Newton. The family wishes to give special thanks to his uncle and aunt, Bobby and Myrtice McCorvey, who were there for him after the death of his father. Pallbearers were Wayne Hewitt, Jerry Morris, Tommy Morris, Jimmy Fulp, Warren Newton, Steve Connell. Memorials are requested to Flat Creek Church.
