  Marvin Harold McCorvey, 88, of Nashville, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, in 
the SGMC Berrien Campus.
 He was born November 16, 1927, in Tift County to the late John Dan and Mary Alice 
Dillard McCorvey. He attended A’New Way Baptist Church, was a retired farmer and 
carpenter. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald McCorvey, grandson, Alex 
McCorvey; two sisters, Bessie Lawson and Mae Mathis; two brothers, J.W. McCorvey 
and Evans McCorvey.
 He is survived by his wife, Murdell Hale McCorvey of Nashville; two daughters, 
Gwen (Gary) Smith of Moultrie and Fay (Randall) Foxworth of Pine Mountain; two 
sons, Randy (Brenda) McCorvey and Pernell (J0 Ann) McCorvey of Nashville; sister, 
Mary Sumner of Nashville; brother, Bobby McCorvey of Nashville; seven 
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held on Friday, December 4 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of 
Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett and Rev. Randall Foxworth 
officiating.
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
