 Fred Allen “Stovepipe” McGill, 88, of Nashville died April 18, 2013 at his 
residence.
 Born July 31, 1924, in Berrien County to the late Fred and Vianna Loyed 
McGill, he was a retired sales representative with McKesson Distributors Co. He 
was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United 
States Army. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Lea Smith.
 He is survived by the mother of his childred, Ona Faye Fitzgerald of Ellijah; 
two daughters, Donna Faye McGill Malmstrom of Nashville and Anna Beth Hacker of
Ellijah
Ellijah; four grandchillren, Rhiannon Kistler, Shadrick Starling, Starla White 
and Heather Rettergbush; five great grandchildren, Christain Mata, Gabriel 
Ruiz, Shane Starling, Christian Starling, and Jessie James White and one
great-great
great-grandchild, Raven Bella Mata.
 Funeral services were held April 20 at 2:30 p.m. at Nashville First Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Stanley Luke officiating.
 Interment followed at Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
