NASHVILLE -- George McLendon, 56, of Nashville died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at 
South Georgia Medical Center.
 He was born Jan. 24, 1947, in Berrien County to Frank Emmitt and Irene Knight 
McLendon. He was a forklift operator for Nashville Mills.
 He is survived by his wife, Mary Linda Rowan McLendon of Nashville; two 
daughters, Donna McLendon, Becky Massey, both of Nashville; one son, John 
McLendon, Nashville; and one brother, Frank McLendon of Nashville.
 Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, in the chapel 
of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Trawick officiating. Burial will 
be held in Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. today 
with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m.
