He was born in Berrien County on April 23, 1931 to the late Bob McNabb and the late Sallie Mae Hall. He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force with service in Korea and the Viet Nam era. He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances McKinnon McNabb, Nashville; a daughter, Barbara Warren, Nashville; two sons, James H. McNabb Jr., Hartford, Ct., and Robert A. (Iris) McNabb, Nashville; four grandchildren, Sam Warren, Trent McNabb, Jorden McNabb and Mahala McNabb; and one great grand daughter, Mary Kathryn Warren. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Carolyn Giddens, Velma Grimes and Thelma Clanton; and three brothers, Homer McNabb, June McNabb and Robert McNabb. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Fletcher officiating. Interment will be at Nashville Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Pallbearers were Alton Bailey, Rodger Swann, Eugene Baldree, Wendell Spells. Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Monday, February 4 at Lovein Funeral Home. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
