Born in Berrien County on May 26, 1924, she was a homemaker and moved to Lakeland in 1963 from Tampa. She was a member of Gapway Baptist Church where she attended the Mary Martha Sunday School Class, volunteered as a nursery worker and a vacation bible school teacher. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. McNabb is survived by her husband Ruel B. McNabb, Lakeland; sons, Wayne McNabb, Jasper McNabb, both of Lakeland; daughter, Patricia McNabb Brooks, Lakeland; brother, Virgil Browning, of West Berrien Community; sister, Geneva Harper, West Berrien Community; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 31 at 2 p.m. at Gapway Baptist Church in Lakeland. Interment was in Socrum Cemetery in Lakeland. Lanier Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
