Born Dec. 25, 1921, in Berrien County to the late George W. and Allie Mathis Gray, she was a homemaker and worked for many years with Bennett-Taylor Drug C Co. She was retired from the Nashville Alternative Service Center and was a m member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Johnny Ross of Nashville and Ann and Joe Causey of Jefferson; son Harry McNabb of Nashville; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sarah (Clifton) Hendley of Nashville and Nell Pittman of Fernandina Beach, FL; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas J. Gray, Ira L. Gray, George Vernon Gray; niece, Janice Hendley; nephew, Kenny Pittman; great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home Home with the Revs. J.W. Dukes, III and Jackie Connell officiating. Dan Taylor sang sang "How Great Thou Art" and "Because He Lives," accompanied by Renee Gaskins, pian pianist. Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Hendley, Wayne Hendley, Lyle Hendley, Lance Hendley, Cl Cliff Hendley, Steve, Gray, Billy Pittman. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
