Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. The Rev. Gilbert Hinson will officiate. Burial will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens. Born Aug. 1, 1919, in Ware Co. he was the son of William Virgdry Miller and Catherine Veronia Webber, both deceased. Miller was a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service and a retired machinist and a member of First Baptist Church of Conley. He also was an Army veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife, Essie Irene Simpson Miller of Nashville; one daughter, Catherine Ables of Snellville; two sons, Joe Miller of Carrollton and Lamar Miller of Nashville; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
