 Yevette Strickland Milton Yevette Strickland Milton, 45, of Ray City, Ga., 
passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, in South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta 
after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Douglas, Ga., and lived in 
many places before her father’s retirement from the Air Force, and moving to 
Ray City. She was a service coordinator for Babies Can’t Wait. She was a member 
of Springhead United Methodist Church in Willacoochee, Ga., and attended New 
Beginnings Fellowship Church in Ray City, Ga.
  She was preceded in death by her father, John Paul Strickland. She is 
survived by her husband, Alan Milton of Ray City, Ga.; two daughters, Heather 
Strickland Milton, Alana Strickland Milton, both of Ray City; stepdaughter, 
Ashley Nicole Milton, Nashville, Ga.; mother, Phyllis Stevens Strickland, Ray 
City; sister, Alisa Strickland Harper, Willacoochee, Ga.; brother and sister-in-
law, John Paul and Marsha Strickland II, Ray City, Ga.; mother and father-in-
law, Faye and Randal Milton Sr. Nashville, Ga.; sister-in-law, Virginia Milton 
Hogan, Nashville, Ga.; brother-in-law, Randal Milton, Jr. Adel, Ga.
 Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday Oct. 16, 2008, in the 
Lakeland chapel of Music Funeral Services. 
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is in charge of arrangements.
