Mock, 85, of Fitzgerald died May 13, 2007 at VA Medical Center in Lake City, FL. Funeral service were held May 16 at 11 a.m. at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Elder Jerry Barrs and the Revs. Joel Tucker and Larry Sweat officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Born August 8, 1921 in Berrien County to the late Miles Monroe and Eunice McMillan Mock, he was a retired machinist, welder and logger. He was a member of Fitzgerald Primitive Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran serving with 5th Armored Division, Rhineland Central Europe Campaign. He was married to the late Frances Underwood Mock. Survivors include one daughter, Mary (Larry) Tucker of Lake City, FL; one son, Thomas Mock of Nashville; ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Paulk Funeral Home of Fitzgerald was in charge of arrangements.
