 Mildred Mock, 81, of Alapaha, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Tift Regional 
Medical Center. She was born Sept. 6, 1926, in Berrien County to the late 
William Oren Davis and Velma Gaskins. She was a homemaker and a retired clerk 
with the U.S. Postal Service in Alapaha. She was a member of Glory United 
Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kenneth 
Mock, who died in 1985, a brother, Lafayette Davis, and a sister, Doris 
Johnson. Survivors are a son, Lee Mock of Alapaha; two brothers, Vernon 
(Juanita) Davis of Howell and Gene (Olif) Davis of Douglas; one sister, 
Latrelle Rogers of Alapaha; and one brother-in-law, Jake Johnson of Lee, Fl. 
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in the Chapel of     
Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Connell and the Rev. Bruce Vaughn 
officiating. Interment will be at Glory Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were O.J. Jacobs, Bobby Jewell, Kyle Stone, Mike Davis, Ken 
Taft, Erik Taft, Mike Luke.
 Honorary pallbearers were Blake Luke, Phillip Hollman.
 Visitation is 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2008 at Lovein Funeral Home. —Lovein
