Moore, 79, of Nashville died July 26, 2004 at Capital Regional Medical Center of Tallahassee, FL. Born March 16, 1925 in Berrien County to the late Percy and Bessie Parker Moore, he was a former deputy sheriff for Berrien County, a retired sergeant shift supervisor with the Nashville Police Department and a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII. Survivors include his wife, Mamie Lee Jones Moore of Nashville; one daughter, Iris Shepard of Nashville; one son, Chuck Moore of Nashville; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 29 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Mitchell officiating. Musical selections included "Beulah Land." Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers included Joey Moore, Jerome Moore, Michael Jones, Robert Jacobs, Donnie Jacobs, Josh Moore, Billy Moore, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Lewis Fountain, Brion Akins, Phillip Akins, Edgar McKever, Jr., Robert Griner, Dr. Henry Richbourg, Wyman Butler, Dick Reed, Dr. Richard Wheeler.
