He was born August , 1956 in Berrien County to Nancy Morris Moore of Nashville and the late Gerald Moore. He was the managing partner for Longbridge Peanut Company and a member of Enigma Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Becky Akins Moore of Enigma; two sons, Josh (Amanda) Moore of Alapaha and Zach Moore of Enigma; two sisters, Ann (Jeff) Jones of Taylorsville and Karen Shellhouse of Phenix City, AL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Carolyn Akins of Enigma; brother-in in-law, James Akins of Enigma; sister-in-law, Lucy (Rev. Steve) Hand of Ocilla. Funeral services were held on May 1 at 11 a.m. at Enigma Baptist Church with the Revs. Revs. Pete Jones and Steve Hand officiating. Becky Moore sang “In the Garden” and the congregation sang “Amazing Grace.” Interment was in Turner Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Michael Hand, Blake Hand, Craig Davis, Clay Davis, Parker Moore, Jeff Jones, James Akins, Jake Shellhouse. Honorary pallbearers were David Hendley, L.E. Watson, III, Brion Akins, Phillip Akins, Steve Register, Bobby Kimble, Parrish Akins, Randy Hancock, Wayne Hendley, James Griner, Jerome Moore, Billy Stewart, Scott Purvis, Joe Dixon, Randy Warren, Hal McMillan, Tim McMillan, Mark Metts, Keith Gibbs, Curtis Davis, Greg Green, Jerry Brogdon, Bill Sutton, Ernie Purcell, Randall Griner, Bruce Shepard, Danny Hendley.
