She was born June 7, 1937, in Morven to the late James and Edna Pearl Brantley Morris. She was a homemaker, retired bookkeeper at Berrien High School, member of Nashville United Methodist Church, member of the Leila Tye Sunday School Class and Circle G, a volunteer with the NUMC JAM Ministry. She was the widow of Gerald Moore and was also preceded in death by a son, Joey Moore, and a son-in- law, Dennis Shellhouse. She is survived by two daughters, Anne (Jeff) Jones of Taylorsville and Karen Shellhouse of Phenix City, AL; daughter-in-law, Becky Moore of Enigma; three sisters, Sandra Wolf of Green Cove Springs, FL, Clara Carter of Glen St. Mary, FL, and Edna Deel of Green Cove Springs, FL; four grandchildren, Joe Moore (Amanda) of Alapaha, Mallory Shellhouse of Pecoulas (Phillip) of Hong Kong, Zack Moore of Enigma, and Jake Shellhouse of Auburn, AL. Funeral services were held February 21 at 3 p.m. at Nashville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Danny Ray and Michael Finn officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Curtis Deel, Doug Deel, Ricky Wolf, Emmett Wolf, David Shepard, Jarrod Griner. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Lela Tye Sunday School Class and Circle G. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
