The last rites were conducted by Rev. John Glisson in the presence of a large assemblage of relatives and friends. Arrangements for the burial were in charge of the Lovein Funeral Home of Nashville. The deceased was a son of Mrs. Ida Moore of Alapaha. He was 25 years of age. Singers included Mr. and Mrs. Howard McNabb, Miss Bessie Dora McNabb, and Roy Davis. Songs used were “Precious Memories,” “I’ll Meet You in the Morning,” and “How Beautiful Heaven Must Be.” Pall-bearers were Jim Hogan, D.J. Hogan, Charles Moore, Wycliff Roberts, Walter Rowe, J.D. Gaskins, Kenneth Mock, and Nead Purvis. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, the former Miss Betty Rose Griffin, and a young son, Otis Laverne; his parents, Osie Moore of Naylor, and Mrs. Ida Moore of Alapaha. Also two sisters, Misses Lucy and Lois Moore of Alapaha; two half brothers, Brendo and Lucious Moore; and a half sister, Miss DeLoris Moore of Naylor.
