She was born February 16, 1934, in Berrien County to the late Malcolm Joel "Jody" Moore and the late Edna Hall. She was the widow of Robert "Bob" L. Morgan who died in 2010, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Dotty Keller of Valdosta, and a brother, Gene Moore of Nashville. She was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church. She graduated fro Nashville High School, attended business school in Atlanta, and briefly worked at the Ivan Allen store in Atlanta. Her husband, Bob, was a U.S. Army career soldier and the two of them spent over 20 years living in Germany, Italy, New York and South Carolina. Bob retired from the Army in 1970 and they settled in Nashville. She then worked in civil service for over 20 years at moody Air Force Base, retiring in 1995, as the secretary to the wing commander. She enjoyed fishing and spent a great deal of time at their cabin in Suwannee, FL. She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Joe (Debra) Morgan of Valdosta and John (Donna) Morgan of Athens; two grandsons, Robert Morgan of Tifton and David Morgan of Stockbridge; three granddaughters, Candace Mobley and Heather Hill, both of the Athens area, and Tonya English of Evans; five great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were held October 5 at 2 p.m. at Nashville Memorial Gardens with Mr. Jackson Moore officiating. The family requests memorials to Langdale Hospice House.
