Born October 17, 1920 in Ware County to the late Elmer W. and Zuma Thigpen Futch, she was a homemaker and member of Assembly of God. She was married to the late James Raymond Morris. Survivors include four daughters, Jeanette Barnes of Perrine, FL, Betty Rusk of Naples, FL, Joyce Sylvia of Leesburg, FL, Donna Morris of Eullis, TX; one son, Danny Morris of Adel; five sisters, Vivian King of Bartow, FL, Marion Sylvia of Sebastian, FL, Jeanne Solt of Pinecrest, FL, Esther Shepard of Gainesville, Carolyn Koons of Miami Lakes, FL; three brothers, Hugh Futch of Merritt Island, FL, James Futch of Phoenix, AZ, Carl Futch of San Pedro, Costa Rica; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, James R. "Bud" Morris and one grandson. Funeral services were held July 23 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Cason officiating. Sue Russ sang "Beulah Land," Karen Croft sang "Beyond the Sunset," Jonathan Sylvia sang "Do You Know My Jesus?" Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Mark Shafford, James Morris, Daniel Morris, Jr., Paul Barnes, Jonathan Sylvia, Jimmy Morris, Billy Morris. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
