Born November 7, 1920 in Rockdale Co. to the late Carl Vincent and Lettie Hancock Myers, he was a farmer and retired maintenance supervisor with the Berrien Co. Board of Education. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and was married to the late Mildred Gaskins Myers. Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Wes and Gayla Myers of Albuquerque, NM; two grandchildren, Wade (Robin) Myers and Carla Myers, one great granddaughter, Graycen Myers, one great grandson, Jake Weston Myers. Funeral services were held Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Stan Stalvey, R. T. Castleberry and John Hendley officiating. Rebecca Graddy sang "Amazing Grace," "The Rugged Cross" and "Wish You Were Here." Interment was in Gaskins Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
