 Pearlie A. Nash, 96, of Nashville died December 31, 2012 in the Berrien County Hos
Hospital.
 He was born January 9, 1916 in Irwin County (Springhill Community) to the late Ch
Charlie Nash and the late Martha Ann Harper. He was a member of the Nashville Fi
First Baptist Church and served in the United States Army during WWII. He re
retired from Civil Service with Moody AFB as a mechanic. He also worked for va
various car dealers as an inspector. He truly loved working in his yard with fl
flowers and received the Yard of the Month in June of 2002. He also enjoyed NA
NASCAR. He married Marie Metts on November 9, 1946 and were married for 58 ye
years until her death on Feb. 24, 2005. He was also preceded in death by 2 br
brothers, Osie Nash and Lonnie Nash; 2 sisters, Mary Jane Nash Parker and Fa
Fannie Nash Johnson.
 He is survived by a sister, Blannie Nash McEwen of Salem, OR and several n
nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services will be held Saturday January 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel 
of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Southerland officiating. Interment 
will follow in the Springhill Cemetery in Irwin Co. Visitation is Friday from 6 
to 8 p.m.
