Nash, Route 1, Ray City, died at his home, ending a two week illness, Friday, July 29, at 10:30 p.m. Mr. Nash was born and reared in Berrien county and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Nash. Services were conducted at Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church Sunday at 4 p.m., the Elder L.A. Hancock officiating. A quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. Howard McNabb, Miss Bessie Dora McNabb, and Mrs. Minnie Griner sang two songs, Precious Memories and I’ll Meet You In The Morning. Pall-bearers were: Leonard Sweat, Mack Sweat, Pearlie Nash, Carson Nash, W.P. Luke and Robert Baggs. Mr. Nash is survived by his wife, five sons, and nine daughters. His sons are: Dewey and Buie Nash of Nashville and Simon, Julian and Harold Nash of Ray City. His daughters are: Mrs. Ira Johnson, Valdosta; Miss Leona Nash, Sadis Park, N.Y.; Mrs. Ethel Mathis, Jacksonville; Mrs. Jewell McDonald, and Mrs. Gladys McDonald of Lake Park; Mrs. W.P. Luke, Ray City; Mrs. Gertie Barton, Miami; Mrs. Rachel Tarry, Adel; Miss Ollie Nash, Jacksonville; and Miss Lunell Nash, Ray City. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. G.P.
