Born Jan. 4, 1905 in Berrien County to the late Ed Clements and Susanned Hancock Nash, he was a farmer and member of Long Bridge Primitive Baptist Church. He was married to the late Nellie Nash. Survivors include one daughter, Aline Griner of Nashville; two sons, Carson Nash and Terrell Nash, both of Nashville; six half-sisters, Ollie Clark of Nashville, Rachel Terry of Adel, Lunell Lightsey of Valdosta, Gertrude Barton of Hollywood, FL, Verdie Cantrell and Ellen Watson, both of MacClenney, FL; two half-brothers, Julian Nash of Adel and Simon Nash of Lake Park; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 14 at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Elders Lamar Shepard and Varn Marshall officiating. A selected Primitive Baptist choir provided appropriate music. Interment was in Pleasant Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Wesley Griner, James Griner, Jimmy Nash, Wayne Nash, Alan Smith, Steve Smith, Timmy Nash, Keith Nash. Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Nash, Randy Nash, Travis Nash, Mark Griffin, Ken Lewis, Craig Lewis, Jason Griner, Chris Griner, Jason Nash, Shane Smith. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
