 William Rex Nelms, 76, of Nashville died Sept. 14, 2011, at The Retreat.
 Born June 25, 1935, in Hazlehurst to the late George Moses and Mattie Lee Perso
Persons Nelms, he attended Nashville Holiness Church and was retired from Chapa
Chaparral Boats in the maintenance department. He is preceded in death by four
broth
brothers and a sister.
 Survivors include one daughter, Mary Pearl Rowan of Omega; son, George Willie Nelm
Nelms of Nashville; two sisters, Louise Baldree and Laurene Taylor, both of Nash
Nashville; brother, Bruce Nelms of Nashville; eight grandchildren.
 A graveside service was held Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. at Westview Cemetery with the Rev
Rev. Johnny Smith officiating.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
